The Best Travel Youtube Channels To Watch in 2017

Ao Nang - Thailand

There is no shortage of good travel content on Youtube. It’s finding those Youtube Channels who put out consistent quality content week in and week out that’s the tricky part. In an effort to make your life a little easier and help inspire your travels through Youtube, I’ve put together a collection of the best travel Youtube Channels to watch in 2017.

Over the years of this blog, I’ve put together a collection of posts listing the different travel Youtube channels. It’s built up quite significantly in that time. However, as the lives of those Youtube creators change, so does their content. They may still be producing fantastic content, but their focused may have moved away from travel.

So instead of going through old posts and seeing which channels are still focused on travel, for this years post I thought I’d start fresh. Creating a clean list to kick off 2017. If you’ve seen those old posts you will certainly see a few familiar names, but I’ve made sure there are plenty of new ones in here as well.

So without further ado, here are the best travel Youtube channels to follow in 2017.

Fun For Louis (Louis Cole)

Louis is a British traveler who spends his life traveling the world and putting together daily videos (or vlogs) on YouTube. His motto is “Live the Adventure” and you’ll see from his videos, he does exactly that. Live out his adventures on Fun For Louis on Youtube.

Hey Nadine

Nadine’s a Canadian creator putting out amazing travel content. She spends her time exploring all sorts of interesting destinations, putting together fun and informative videos each week. When she’s not traveling she still puts together great travel tips. It’s well worth checking out Hey Nadine on Youtube as well as her website –

Lost LeBlanc

The first fresh face, well faces, on this list for 2017. Christian and his girlfriend Laura put out high quality artistic travel content, really raising the bar for travel videos on Youtube. These two Canadians have spent a lot of time exploring South East Asia recently and have more adventures on the way. To find out more, head on over to Lost LeBlanc on Youtube.

Ben Brown

A British traveler who has now based in himself in South Africa. His extremely high quality travel content is divided up between daily vlogs and his “visual vibes” videos. Another content creator raising the bar for travel content on Youtube. You can try to keep up with his active lifestyle on the Ben Brown Youtube channel or on his website –

Jon Olsson

Another fresh face on my travel Youtubers list. Jon made his name as a professional skier before turning to business and vlogging. While his Youtube channel is more of a side project, Jon’s not one to sit still for very long and his channel documents his adventures all over the world. If you’d like to transported into a world that you could only dream of, head over to the Jon Olsson Youtube channel. To find out more you can also check out his website –

Kristen Sarah

The channel was formally known as Hopscotch the Globe, before being rebranded by Kristen, is another unique take on travel videos. Kristen and her husband Siya put together quirky yet interesting videos as they explore destinations all over the world. To find out more visit Kristen Sarah’s Youtube channel or her website –

These Californian brothers, Alex and Marko, originally won a competition to video their adventures ticking off the biggest baddest bucket list. Now the duo have turned their attention to building their own travel channel. Producing content that focuses on local experiences during their travels. You can follow their adventures on the Vagabrothers Youtube Channel or their website –

Backpacking Bananas

Christianne is British Backpacker sharing her journey around the world. Most recently she’s been exploring New Zealand on a working holiday visa. You can find out more about her journeys on her Backpacking Bananas Youtube channel.

The Blonde Abroad

Kiersten is another California local, who is better known for her travel blogging. While her channel has a good selection of travel videos already, she’s only recently turned to travel vlogging. It’s this more regular travel content that’s allowed me to add her to the list this year. To find out more head on over to The Blonde Abroad on Youtube or her website –

The Wandering Quinn

Another travel blogger turned travel vlogger based in the UK. Ellie has only started producing travel videos in the last year, and while the video production isn’t quite up to the level of some of the other channels I’ve recommended here, it’s improving every video. If you are looking for new fresh travel videos, this is the channel to keep an eye on. Check out The Wandering Quinn on Youtube or her website –
