G’day Travelers! April 25th marked the 101st anniversary of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corp’s (ANZAC) landing at Gallipoli, in Turkey as part of the first world war.
Every year the towns across Australia put together ANZAC Day Dawn Services and other special tributes to honour and commemorate Australian and New Zealand service men and women who served their countries in times of conflict.
This year I was in Terrigal (on the NSW Central Coast) for ANZAC Day. While I didn’t photograph the dawn service, here’s a couple of photos I took of the special ANZAC tribute setup on the Skillion.
